1. Create an account.

Download Argent X on your preferred browser. We support Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Brave.

Official Argent X download links:

Step 1

Go to the , click “Add to Chrome”, and click “Add extension”.

Step 2

Click "Create a new wallet".

Step 3

Click "I Agree".

Step 4

Create a password for your Argent X wallet. Then click "Create Wallet".

The best practice for account security is to:

  1. Use a new password

  2. Create a strong password

  3. Write it down somewhere safe

Step 5

Choose to create a “Smart Account”.

The smart account will be secure and easy to recover if you lose your seed phrases.

Step 6

Set your 2FA e-mail and enter the verification code.

Great! Now your smart account is ready!

Step 7

Pin the Argent X extension by clicking on the extensions icon (🧩) in the top right corner. Then, click the pin icon (📍) next to Argent X.

Now, you can check your new wallet by clicking the Argent X icon.

Step 8

Click the top of the wallet “Name of your wallet | Mainnet”

Then click “Mainnet” and choose “Sepolia”

Step 9

You don’t have any accounts on the Sepolia testnet yet. Click “Add account” at the bottom to create one.

Step 10

Choose “Smart Account” and then click “Continue”.

Step 11

Congratulations! You can use the account just created to access Trivex on Sepolia testnet.

2. Get $ETH or $STRK token from the faucet.

There are 2 ways to get the testnet token. One is by using the Starknet Foundation Testnet Faucet. Another one is by bridging $ETH from Ethereum Sepolia Testnet to Starknet Sepolia Testnet.

( 1 ) Starknet Foundation Testnet Faucet

Copy and paste your Starknet Testnet wallet address.

Choose to take 150 STRK or 0.002 ETH. You can request the token once every 24 hours.

Verify you are human and click the 'Request Tokens' button.

You will know if the transaction has been successfully implemented.

( 2 ) Bridge from Ethereum

*You need an EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) format wallet to receive $ETH from the testnet faucet. It is different from the Starknet wallet in your Argent X. (Starknet blockchain doesn’t have EVM at this time, but they use another system. Therefore, the wallet addresses on Starknet are not the same as the addresses on Ethereum or most of the other Layer2 blockchains.)

If you don’t have a Web3 wallet, you can download OKX Wallet (recommended) or the Metamask browser extension to create one. Make sure you have 0.001ETH on the Ethereum mainnet in your wallet address to receive Sepolia testnet $ETH token from a faucet. All of these will be needed in the following steps.

Step 1 - Request

To acquire $ETH on the Ethereum Sepolia testnet, you can use:

You can acquire 0.1 ETH / 72hrs from Alchemy’s Faucet or 0.03 ETH / 24hrs from Google’s Faucet.

The process is simple: Log in (Only Google one is needed), paste your Ethereum Sepolia testnet address, and click the "Send me $ETH" button.

1.1 For Alchemy

Register for an Alchemy account. Then back to the main page and enter your address. Click the button.

It will show this page if the request is successful.

1.2 For Google

Log in by using your Google account.

Enter your address and click the button.

It will be like this if the request is successful.

Step2 - Bridge

Make sure it’s on Spolia testnet but not Mainnet. Check the upper right corner.

Click “Connect Wallets” and then click “Get Started”.

For the Ethereum wallet, click the one you installed. The following instructions will use the OKX Wallet.

There will be a connection request window that pops out. Click “Connect”.

*If the wallet window doesn’t pop out, you should click the icon and enter the password to log in.

Connected successfully, then click “Connect Starknet Wallet”.

Choose Argent X.

It is the same as OKX Wallet. There will be a window pop out. If it doesn’t, try to log in.

Click “Connect” to connect your Starknet wallet with the web.

If both wallets are connected, you will see your wallets information in the top-right corner. The web will automatically read your $ETH amounts from your wallet. Set the number of $ETH you want to transfer to Starknet or just click “Max”.

*Tips: do not enter all amounts of ETH you have. You need to pay the gas fee for transactions. Please leave a few tokens for gas to make sure the transaction succeeds.

Double-check the details and then click “Complete your transfer”.

Because this transaction starts from the Ethereum Sepolia testnet, there will be a confirmation request pop out from OKX Wallet. Click “Confirm” to permit the transaction on-chain.

If everything goes well, you will see Congratulations on your screen.

Close this you will see the status of your transaction.

After the transaction is finished, you will see it shows Completed Deposit. Now you can close this web page and check your $ETH amount in your Argent X wallet.

The $ETH amount will be updated in your wallet.

Congratulations! Now, you have enough testnet tokens to try dApps’ functions. Have fun and enjoy it!
